Little frog
Tuesday
I was at Knitting Ministry at church this morning - our first meeting since the summer break. It's always so good to get back together, exchange news and see what we've each been working on. Since we're a large church, these small groups are so important to get to know people. One of the ladies had suggested she ordered some pizza for the end of our meeting so we could share lunch together, which was fun. It was a beautiful day, and in the afternoon, Laura and I had planned to go pedal-boating at one of the Hamilton County parks. Unfortunately, we had overlooked the fact that now the schools are back, the boat houses are only open at the weekend! So, instead, we went walking at Glenwood Gardens, where I almost stepped on this cute little fella. He was further into the path at the time, and really small, and with his coloring looked like a large stone! Fortunately, I realized at the last minute, and sort of skipped over him! He didn't seem at all perturbed by his narrow escape, and stayed quite still and posed nicely for me! It's getting down to the wire now - we have Laura at home for just two more days, before she leaves for Macedonia with the Peace Corps!
