Waiting at the start...

What a backdrop for the runners waiting to start the marathon and relay this morning. Just beautiful. I ran my leg (the furthest I have ever run) in 1 hour 27, am happy with that. It was a great atmosphere running through the park and then along to Musselburgh. I welled up as I ran onto the (my) Prom. So much kindness, love and support in the air. Thanks Edinburgh.
