Madeline Island

Madeline Island is the largest of the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior.  It was a gorgeous day for us to explore.  We have been there many times, but had the pleasure of showing it off to friends of ours.  We do feel like it is ours. This is brown sandstone.  Many of the buildings in old Chicago were made with Brownstone from this area.
