Rebecca Chesney
Wild Flower Meadow
Everton Park has always been a bit of a problem; never having been designed as a park, but is there following slum clearances however many years ago. But things are changing and a number of projects are planned for the park both during the Biennial and, hopefully, for a long time after it.
This is one such project. Rebecca Chesney has planted these meadows in the park, partly to attract bees and insects as well as people. They break up the monotony of mown grass and they bring a character to an area that desperately needs it. Works for me.
