Just an ordinary moth, about an inch across. He landed on Mr S's hand and then spooked away into the rafters when I brought out the camera.

The third day of painting class was exhausting. I started another piece and worked really hard to apply everything I learned over the past two days. And I did learn a lot. Right now it's all rolling around in my head, which feels like a blender. It will be interesting to see how this all goes without the instructor nearby.

Garden update: the creature has struck again. Im just going to call it a gopher and be done with it. Yesterday another tomato plant, today another lobelia. There are tunnels everywhere.
