At home

Breakfast at the bar and lunch at home before heading out in the car in the afternoon.

I had seen on the web site of the local paper there was a traffic jam this morning on the lakeside road from Lenno to Argegno. No particular reason other than the weather attracting people to the lake on a Saturday. I hoped it might have cleared by the time we set out, but it was not to be. It took us an hour to travel about 10 kilometres.

We were heading to Malpensa airport to collect a friend who is staying with us for a week. Her flight arrives at 23:05 so we are staying in a hotel at the airport for the night and return to Lenno Sunday morning.
