Barrel Cactus Flowers

I have been watching these for the past few weeks, hoping they would be opening this week. When Bunker & I were doing our early morning wander (6:17am) There were tight little buds (extra 1)  Four hours later, they are in full bloom!

I added a Landscape Legend - Overcast preset to the main blip. I like how the colors were warmed and given a bit of a dreamy look to it. The second extra is what it looks like pretty much SOOC. 

I am grateful this little beauty bloomed when I can enjoy its' short life.
