Rained off

What a night! We were woken by a variety of things: sirens, thunder, baby, cats and the dawn chorus (mainly parakeets at the moment). Phew! We had cups of decaf tea at 3am.

The weather forecast said dry this morning and wet this afternoon so we decided to go out for a walk around Keston Ponds this morning... except in the heavens opened when we'd only been there for 20 minutes, so we abandoned our walk. We had Baby L in the carrier today as the ground was wet, a bit muddy and very uneven.
