More Vintage

Looking for something is my favourite way of rediscovering forgotten items.

These belonged to my mother; the thumbnail is the little purse in which her wedding ring was purchased, the decorated box contained a pack of needles from the needle-making capital, Redditch. The item at the top is a propelling pencil (though, sadly, not a Sampson Mordan).

As to the rest, it seems I'm well provided with buttonhooks and ribbon-threaders.

Have I ever used these? No. But it's nice to know they are there when I need them.
