... King of the mountain!

Or at least the dirt pile!

As many of you know already we have had to fill in our in ground pool as a result of some structural issues it had.  It has been a lot of work ... mostly for Richard.  This pile of dirt should be a last load that has to be moved to fill in the hole.  To say the backyard looks a lot different is an understatement!

I believe I have also mentioned that we bid on and won an above ground pool in a holiday auction back in December.  Well, after months of trying to get our pool we were finally able to pick it up today.  Dealing with the owner of the pool store has been difficult at best.  Why he offered the pool for the auction in the first place is a beyond me! We should have done more research on this pool store before we bid on the pool, but time was of the essence. 

So now the work begins on installing this new pool, which includes first getting a permit!  Let the fun begin!!!
