Must admit......

...an emergency blip, and of course not so interesting to anyone else!

The elegant lady centre stage is my paternal grandmother "Granny Gordon", a schoolmistress/head-teacher. I still think it's odd that she was placed in the middle instead of the parents sitting at either side.  Granny was a golfer, in the days when the long skirts must have been a right nuisance, and passed this enthusiasm on to my Dad who golfed until he was quite elderly, when he switched to bowls.
