MonoMonday - Defining the moment..
....when mamma bird flies up to the nest to feed her brood. I waited ages to get a clear shot. She now comes to the nest when we are sitting on the terrace but is so quick to swoop in and deposit something wriggly into an open mouth. I missed the exact moment but managed to freeze some of the action with a high ISO.
They have grown so big they are climbing over each other then 3 of them hopped out of the nest onto the ledge and slept there for the night. (See extra)
We drove to the airport this evening to pick up Hubby's sister who arrived from Australia at 9pm. They are very close so it was lovely for them to be reunited unexpectedly despite the sad circumstances.
Next month I am hosting MonoMonday (I can hear you all groaning again). I promise it will be something not too hard but still fun and challenging.
SkiMe has done an excellent job for May with some thought provoking challenges.
Thanks to everyone for your kind comments and commiserations - i will get around to thanking individually very soon.
