Cars in Coventry

What, did you think I'd come all the way to Great Britain and not show you a picture of an old English car?!
We're in Coventry now - for three motor museums. When there's a choice, Daimlers and Rovers get dibs on our time, it seems; down the road not far, is Stratford-on-Avon, but Shakespeare's gotta take a number and wait his turn for our attention.
The British Motor Museum was great, but about half way through, I felt every flu symptom known and needed to stop. So I'm in our hotel now, and give this ordinary, no nonsense place five stars for having a big, sparkling white bathtub with heated towel racks. Eric has headed right back out for the Transport Museum, about a block from here, while I slide into a hot, soapy tub . . . mmmmmmmmm . . . .

The car is an Austin Swallow from the 1920s - the forerunner to the Jaguar.
