A trio of young Greylags

I'm not the world's best sleeper so I'm often out for a walk early in the morning. I went up to the loch to check on the youngsters. One of the cygnets is missing .... sad but all the goslings seem to be thriving.

You do have to watch your feet when walking round the loch .... cygnets and goslings just poo as they walk round. There is a little buggy thing that cleans up the path at least once a day.

The extra shot shows part of the gosling nursery as the two different geese, Gerylags and Canada, allow their young to forage in the same area.
