Etruscan Citadel

We were dropped off by the bus station in Perugia with two ther guests who are staying at our hotel and made our way to the elevators that were to transport us up into the town. When we arrived at the top we were simple amazed to find ourselves in the underground vaults of a citadel. It felt simply awesome and I'm sure the photo doesn't do it justice. An amazing day, but hot and we were just so pleased to be back at our hotel with a few hours to put our feet up and have a shower. A city we definitely intend to go back to.
