Clip and Collect

Instead of getting a courtesy car today for the car's service & MoT, I looked at the weather last week and decided to take the risk of cycling instead.  Only ever so slightly rained on so it all worked out well although I was a little unsettled to spot an overturned open top farm Land Rover in the verge where I'd cycled only 20 minutes before.  Everyone seemed OK including the farm collie that looked a little bemused licking its lips but sitting up next to the driver (I think) on the side of the road.

These little chaffinches, I spotted in the field that was being dug up the other week. Lots of birds were enjoying a dig around in it including a curlew.
