Spiderwort

WRPerry and I made our first trip of the season to the Patuxent Wildlife Refuge.  The weather forecasters completely missed the boat for yet another day and when we arrived there it was very overcast and misty, and it ultimately turned to rain and drove us away.  That was not what we were expecting. 

We started out with the big lenses, but quickly went back to the car for our macro lenses when we saw some beautiful little wildflowers.  The center of this particular wildflower (Spiderwort) was very appealing and the hoverflies seemed to think so too.
