The Cows are in the Meadows

.... summer is therefore, here again. These lovely ladies are turning grass and flowers into chocolate and cheese!

This morning after the rain, I saw 5 alpine salamanders on the path and heard black grouse (tetra lyre) calling again. This time I saw 3 of the 6 that flew off and even took some rather dismal, hiding in the bushes, shots.

Thanks for all the poppy enthusiasm yesterday. Sorry my commenting is sparse at the moment, not enough time in the day....
