A closer look.

After a bit of of shopping this morning Grace and I took a walk around Coppice Pond to see the Iris in bloom and the cygnets.

We could see the swans well down the pond as we skirted around the far side, still no ducklings to be seen but the Iris are now in flower.

On the main path mum was leading the 6 cygnets towards us followed by dad who had been busy berating the geese on the island. They seemed quite happy to,come near to,us and allowed a little,girl with her mum to feed them. Wendles 56 must have been there just after us.
No apologies for photographing them again.

We spent the afternoon cupboard sorting with .Grace finding many of her childhood friends (toys) to her delight. Did I think I would be washing Sindy clothes today! Got rid of a lot of 'stuff' too so a tiring but useful afternoon and Grace ended up asleep for a couple of hours while I made tea.
It's been a delight having her here for a few days but she goes back tomorrow.
