New project

...cast on 40 sts. St-st 12 rows.
I haven't knit anything for nearly 20 years (how can I be old enough for that to be true?). But a new year demands a new project so I find myself making a doll for my daughter's birthday in March. Or next Christmas, depending how it goes.
