GOOD NEWS.

Back on the 10th April, I blipped that a cob swan was rescued from fishing line on Kinghorn Loch. However, its injuries were later found to be too severe and he was euthanized on the 14th April. The pen has been incubating ever since and has benefited from canoeists feeding her grain. She now has SIX heathy cygnets.

Although subject to normal predation, they have a good chance of reaching adulthood.
