Nil Corniche

This is a few metres from where I work at 645pm. The fast ends in a few minutes.

Usually cars are parked and double parked along here, especially at class change over time. But not tonight. Everyone is at home preparing to break the fast. Many have gone home early as the working day is shortened by an hour. We finish teaching at 11pm as the class starts later to accommodate Iftar.

It was much noisier in the street when I got home. People have eaten, had something to drink and now it's time to get stuff done.
