The funfair out of season

Is a rather creepy place. In fact the whole town has a rather lost sense of purpose out of season, like is hibernating and waiting for something to happen which of course is exactly how it is but I would hate to live somewhere like that.

Once again I am reminded what a taxing job Matthew has. At present the French authorities are giving him a hard time having out of the blue decided that they need to inspect the center and in doing so condemning the archery range and high ropes simply because they do not acknowledge the credentials of the UK based companies who have inspected them and issued them with safety certificates. They have also questioned the qualifications of the staff, Matthew included simply because the way things are done in France differs to the way things are done in the UK. If they were running the centre for French children it would make sense but they are not, it is a UK centre for UK children based in France and they have had no issues in the 30 years they have been there. A fall out of Brexit or pure coincidence? Who knows
