TinyTuesday105 Saving bees

This morning I found two exhausted bees just outside our dining room doors, looking in a very sorry state indeed.  Last week I had been most impressed when a friend on Facebook had put up a little video of a bee that she and her granddaughter had saved by feeding it sugared water, so I decided to try the same.
As you see here I was successful! Each bee immediately stuck out its little proboscis and began to drink.  After 5 minutes, they were both revived and flew away.

Not the best photo: I only had my compact to hand and the setting is not very attractive in close up, but definitely one to record in my journal.
