Today has had a real Autumn feel to it with a bright clear crispness in the air. It's been another hectic work day, but made much better by having my Mum over for homemade curry this evening.

A year ago today, my Dad went in to hospital to have a routine hernia operation, and it was during the op. that the tumors were found. It' feels very surreal that our family nightmare began a whole year ago; it feels like a matter of weeks.
