WidWed..........Cottesloe Beach

I was hoping to post a glorious sunset this evening,  however an almost cloudless day was no help. So. One of my newest favourite toys came out - my 10 stop ND filter .

The thing in the ocean is not a submarine, it's locally known as "The Pylon". It was part of a shark proof net way back in the 1920s (I think). It was a rite of passage for us as kids to swim to the pylon, climb up, avoiding the barnacles, and jump or dive off. Great fun!
