Fire in the sky

I was coming back from Kinlochlaich Garden Centre today after collecting plants to use on the 'Glorious Gardens of Argyll & Bute' stand at Gardening Scotland' tomorrow when I noticed this flaming firebush over someone's hedge near the Dunstaffnage Marina.

I walked up the drive through the colourful garden to ask if I could photograph it, but the house was divided into holiday flats and there was no reply. As it happened, the firebush, Embothrium coccineum, was in the shade from the inside, so I took this picture from across the road. Stunningly beautiful against the blue sky!
