Learning day by day

Ballet Boy

Today is the first of many busy Thursdays in the Faulkner household. The morning is fairly quiet, although we did have a good play at the small soft play. Then early lunch followed by swimming at 12.30, Big Kids (3-5yrs old) Music Train at 13.30, he coped very well indeed with that change. Then after school we all headed to ballet for William to do his first class at 16.15 and then Carys had her class at 16.45.

William seemed to really enjoy it, he had a big smile on his face when I sneaked a peak (parents aren't allowed in class, which for my two is fine) and the teacher gave me the thumbs up when he came out and mouthed that he had been great. He didn't fall over either his too big shoes, which the teacher is happy with, or his own feet, which for William is always a bonus. Carys loved being back, I asked her if she had started learning her dance for the Christmas show, because I know that that is what they were doing as I over heard another girl telling her Mum. She denied it and said she wasn't sure when they were going to start practising. I think the teacher has sworn them to secrecy and C is better at that than she was last year (and better than the little girl I overheard).
