Moorlands Nature Reserve

I have been meaning to take my camera to this local nature reserve for a couple of weeks now. It is home to many varieties of rhododendron trees and shrubs. I just about filled my memory card and the full range of pictures can be seen here. These woods are also home to many bird species although there weren't many to be seen in the middle of the day and with the woods being busy with families and very young children exploring every nook and cranny. The extra is just one of the many blooms on show.
