The Picture House - Front Elevation

I was at another meeting of the Campbeltown Picture House "Raiders of the Lost Archive" group today. There was some scanning to be done and as always it is onwards with the biographies of the early shareholders. I was also looking at some early adverts from pre cinema days when cinematograph shows and music hall touring parties would come to the Victoria Halls. I am beginning to research some of the names I picked out from there.

A highlight today was the arrival of the original plans for the Picture House which opened in 1913. Photographic copies will be made to become part of the digital archive.
