Wisteria

We have been spending the weekend in the New Forest in Lymington with a friend, her daughter and her 102 year old spritely mother.  We don't usually drive anywhere during the Bank Holiday, preferring to keep away from the traffic and crowds but today was special because it was the 50th wedding anniversary of some other old friends who live a couple of miles into the Forest.  They had invited all their family, the family's 13 dogs collectively, a parrot, and, just to add some more confusion,  the heavens opened as we sat down outside to a meal at a long table under a line of leaking gazebos -  Water splashing everywhere but so British!! and most enjoyable!

After we had returned to Lymington we went for a walk in the nearby Woodside Gardens and came across this beautiful wisteria.
