A Bit Deflated.....

Today didn't go quite as well as we'd hoped. Everyone was pretty exhausted after our trip to the zoo yesterday (yet to be blipped - I will back-blip it shortly), so a quiet day was in order. Some of us spent the morning playing at home whilst the rest of us went to the supermarket to replenish the food stocks. Then lunch and an unsuccessful siesta attempt, followed by the most disappointing part of the day when we walked to the beach, only to find that the sea had been cordoned off and huge lorries/diggers were shifting sand, meaning that no one could safely approach the water! I'm not sure how long this is going to go on for, nor can I imagine why such activities are not confined to a better time of day...... Anyway, we did an about turn and returned home for pool time, which turned out to be a delight. No one else in either the toddler pool or the main pool, so much fun was had with a couple of fish-shaped water bombs! I think my blip reflects the day rather well :))
