Fields of Celandines
I was on a 12 mile walk around Simonsbath on Exmoor today with our walking group. We set off at great speed climbing up into the hills. No herds of deer this time but cattle and sheep on distant hills. The weather changed almost every second from cloudy, wet to sun but we ignore it getting very warm in these humid conditions. Lunch was back in Simonsbath by the river where we retreated to a large tree when the rain came again. Then it was back up and out onto the moors where these photos were taken. The extra shows the typical steep hills in this area.
A good but exhausting walk that finished in sunshine.
