Tobermory...

Feet, ferry and bus to get to the beautiful wee village of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull today.  It was worth it... the weather was perfect and the vision a delight to the paint tin.
The yellow house you can see is the Mishnish pub where the Mishnish lager was mighty fine.... and I can also recommend the Isle of Mull Cheese shop, just up the hill .....oh and the ice cream parlour too.... I know... it was a yummy day :)) 
The jam packed double decker bus back to the ferry unfortunately broke down in the middle of nowhere though.... 3 times....... There were no windows and the air conditioning wasn't working during the break downs.  There was a pungent odour of tetchy perspiration in the air ....but we made it to the ferry with minutes to spare... where we all rushed to the top deck for some much needed fresh air - and a nostril cleanse.
Tobermory of course is where the children's programme Balamory was based and filmed.  I do love the idea of people wearing clothes to match the colour of their houses... that pleases me greatly :))
