Rain, Rain, Rain

Yesterday when we landed in Newark, it was such a beautiful afternoon - sunny and warm but not hot.

This morning I woke up to dark skies and RAIN! It was supposed to clear after 9am but it never did. I had a dentist appointment - not very far away, but I confess I took a taxi so I wouldn't be a drenched rat when I got there. I walked back, however, and didn't mind getting a bit wet as I knew I'd be getting ready to head back to the airport.

I took just a few pictures as I walked past the green in the centre of town - looking very lush with all the rain they've been having recently. This town has a lot of early American history, including landmarks from the US Revolutionary War.
