Brown Thrasher

It was gloomy for 3/4 of the day and then the sun came out mid afternoon. First decent chance to go to the Fort River Refuge in days, and so we went.  The sun was quite dazzling, and at the wrong angle here, but the shot still came out decently. We've generally had these thrashers high in the distance (as here), so it was good to find this one low and relatively close. We saw very little else, except for many turtles in the water at the large pool.
