My paperweight

In fact it is my oldest camera lens, the one I got with my EOS camera about ten years ago. Now I find it of very little use.
Besides it does not work properly and it is terribly heavy.  That 's why I call it my paperweight.
I am thinking of getting a new lens. What do you recommend?
