Damselfly

I took a walk down to the river behind us this evening, and was rewarded with a glimpse of a kingfisher, and also some damselflies.
I'm pretty sure that this is a damselfly and not a dragonfly, but can't find any details about it. It looked really pretty in the sunshine, almost golden. 
I was going to work today (I don't normally work on Thursdays or Fridays) but decided yesterday for several reasons that it would be better to go in tomorrow, Friday. I don't know if I made the right decision or not, but the weather has been glorious today.
