Welcome back!

I haven't seen any herons up at the loch since well before Easter and even then they were staying on the island.

Some work was carried out on the removal of the blue/green algae which had put a stop on all water activities last summer and autumn .... I think the herons disappeared then .....

..... until today when I rounded the top of the loch and spotted a heron on the rocks. I had no time to fiddle with the camera fearing that the heron might take flight which he did.

Rather a damp afternoon so I did some of my sewing while watching Andy Murray battle his way into the 3rd round of the French Open.
