sunshine and shadows

A beautiful morning in the park. Fab friends and their children. It was chilled out loveliness. It was pretty perfect, except there are beyond awful things happening for one of them and her family, so beautiful moments have a shadow. There are no adequate words.

This photo was taken this afternoon, another lovely friend and her two boys, there are birthdays coming for three of them, but today at 5, 4, 3 and 2 they all played and played with only the odd need for an adult to intervene. It was lovely.
