Every vote counts

Saw this sign in Wee Dram which restored some of my faith in humanity after a week of hearing about nothing but the election next week. Helped in British Heart Foundation this morning then had an appointment at Florence St. Left feeling disheartened but was stopped in the street by a Marie Curie charity worker trying to get donations from people , who saw me reading my book and started talking to me about it. He was really lovely - a genuine good Glaswegian guy and it helped to cheer. Me up. Then I went out canvassing for Patrick Harvie - there were a couple of friendly receptive faces amongst some uninterested pigheaded people who aren't willing to listen, and it's those few smiling supportive people that make it worthwhile.
