Spring Fling...

A muggy morning in Da Shire.

Spent a few hours driving between Carronbridge, Gatelawbrdge, Thornhill and Moniaive to visit various studios of artists as part of Spring Fling.

Bumped into a few folk we knew, saw some beautiful art and had a tasty lunch at Thomas Tosh.

In the evening Iain and I walked over to where Kate was staying. We spent the evening out in the garden, hanging out with her brothers, Mum, sister in law and baby nephew.

A countryside walk home in the dark - the air still warm at almost midnight, the sounds of owls and other creatures replacing those of cars. Fab!
