Blue Flag

After 17 years, Bray Beach has a blue flag again.   The ceremony was yesterday but I was unable to be there.  

The flagpole is on left of photo but it was such a lovely calm morning, it wouldn't even give me a flap to work with. On right is beach-hut where Bray Sea Swimmers keep their gear.

This coming weekend is Irish Bank Holiday. We used to call it the Whit Weekend, but now its generally called the June Bank Holiday.

There's lots to do over here this weekend - I am going to a food festival. Hope the weather stays good.
