Close and Wide

I'm a little bored with photography here in Seattle for the moment, so needed a boost and decided to go for some of the "challenges" of the day which I got from the Digital Photography School website. There's so much to learn out there and it's available without going to a class, so I'm going to make renewed effort to learn.
This one is "close and wide" with wide angle lens. It's in my dining room and of course I love the colors because I chose/painted them. Can you guess what these purple things are?
So just a bit of fun today.
(it was supposed to be Fiona and Tatum tonight but Fi was sick and Mom stayed home, so it's postponed.)
