A quiet day, we went into Saffron Walden for some bits and the weekly shop.

It's been quite close and muggy to day and there were some grumbles of thunder this afternoon. Quite a bit of rain but nothing too violent.

Last year Margaret brought a job lot of bulbs that were being knocked out at £1 a pack at Scotsdales... The alliums have really done well...
