Early Morning Quietness

I quite enjoyed the peace and quiet of the house and the birds chirping on the patio while preparing the breakfast buffet for our guests early this morning. Just as well there's nothing hot apart from toast which is done when they're ready for it as they appeared downstairs at 10.40, just as I was getting ready to go out for an appointment at 11.00. They obviously slept well and were in no hurry to get out and about as they didn't hit the streets till 12.30. Better that than rushing like maddies though!
