Becky started applying for a job with the civil service back in March.Passed all the tests and interviews with flying colours to be told today that she didn't get the job but her details will be held on file for twelve months.I don't know what people expect today that you can put so much time and effort into applying for a job to be told that you haven't got it.Perhaps it is a blessing do you really want to work in the public sector with a lot of small minded little people.

Well just under a week until the election and whoever gets power it is obvious things will only get worse.The Tories with a large majority will be rabid and Labour will be waving the red flag and taking us back to 1973 calling us all comrades and bankrupting the country.Looks frightening who ever wins.

I have encouraged my girls to think about emigrating.This country has little to offer.
