Manchester

Went by train to Manchester today. It was very quiet at the station and on the routes as I walked to St Ann's Square. The square was busy with people but eerily silent. There is a lovely flower stall at one end and there was a queue. People were walkining into the square clutching their flowers, very moving.
I did some shopping then came home stopping at the Cathedral then the memorial in the station before catching the train home.
