The school bell tolls....

Some brand new playground equipment, at the school where I teach.

But yesterday, the government announced that it plans to close 13 schools, and merge 18 others in the Christchurch area. That changes the educational landscape significantly in a city of 360,000 people.

And this school is one of them.
