Stepping back in time

‪Stepping back in time today to the Battle of Britain for a VIP event to launch WW2 activities at the Castle. VIP guests joined us from the various WW2 museums and memorials across Kent as well as local historical societies and a local WI group.

Sunshine, Spitfires, afternoon tea and a chance to hear some amazing stories made for a memorable day. It was so lovely to see my friend Diana who was a great friend and fundraiser for The Guinea Pig Club and friends with several of the Air Transport Auxiliary pilots. I can't wait to take her flying again soon.
